or mild grinding abrasions.

A heavy coated,low hydrogen type austentic manganeese
steel electrode depositing 14% Mn and 4%Ni.The deposit
is of workhardening type.Hardness increases from
200BHN in as welded condition to 500BHN under impact.For
hard facing applications on mildsteel and low alloy
steel buffer a layer of Mailex 18/8/6SS is recommended.
